People in Brighton & Hove are invited to comment on more detailed plans for the future of Moulsecoomb Place on Lewes Road, Brighton, at a second public consultation exhibition event on Saturday 1st October 2022 on the lawns in front of the Manor House.
Following a consultation event in July attended by hundreds of local people, the new owners of the site, Cathedral Group, have adapted and further refined their proposals, responding to local feedback.
Working closely with Brighton & Hove City Council and the University of Brighton, Cathedral is exploring options to restore the Grade II listed buildings and gardens, with enabling development on the neighbouring student accommodation.
The public consultation will also be open online from 1st to 15th October including a survey to submit comments at www.moulsecoombplace.com
The public exhibition will be held in the Riwaq on the lawns at Moulsecoomb Place in front of the Manor House, on 1st October from 11am to 4pm, with family activites and street food.
Note to editors: The Riwaq is designed by architects Marwa Al-Sabouni and Ghassan Jansiz. It was originally commissioned for Brighton Festival 2022, a collaboration with structural engineers Webb Yates, fabricated by SetWorks.
