PROPOSALS FOR IMEX HQ IN HOVE PUBLIC EXHIBITION

Withdean Commercial Ltd is inviting the public to comment on proposals to redevelop 113-119 Davigdor Road, Hove into the new headquarters of international exhibitions firm IMEX Group as well as new homes.

IMEX Group, currently based on Ellen Street in Hove, is best known for bringing the world’s meeting industry together at two major international trade shows, annually held in Frankfurt and Las Vegas.

The design proposals, created by the award-winning HGP Architects, include space for up to 100 jobs and over 50 new homes and are expected to attract over £20million investment into the local economy over the next ten years.

“We have outgrown our Hove offices and need to move. We really want to stay in Brighton and Hove, where our staff love to live and work and these proposals will allow us to stay here,” said Carina Bauer, CEO of IMEX Exhibitions.

“We hope that neighbours and other people in the city who are interested in our plans will come along and let us know their comments on our early draft proposals, which we hope to submit for planning permission later this year.”

The public consultation exhibition is being held at the site: 4pm-8pm, Wednesday 13th June 2018
at 113-119 Davigdor Road, BN3 1RP
