Brighton’s favourite family Italian restaurant, Donatello, has commissioned local artist Louise Dear to exclusively design their Snowdog as part of the Martlets Hospice charity drive across the city. Famed for her vibrant and beautiful faces and flower-themed art, Louise will be creating a Sophia Loren design for the Donatello Snowdog, named ‘Crush Puppy’.
The Snowdog arrived at Louise’s Crush Studio in Church Street, Brighton, this weekend and will appear in the window there as she works on her over the coming weeks, until the Martlets Hospice’s Snowdog launch on 21 September, when Crush Puppy will move to Donatello in Brighton Place, The Lanes.
Donatello is a family business which has, for over 25 years, served delicious, affordable food using top quality ingredients.
Owner of Donatello Sue Addis said, “We are thrilled to be sponsoring a Snowdog and so happy to be working with Louise Dear who is a great artist – our Crush Puppy is going to be a real Italian beauty! We can’t wait until she moves to our restaurant terrace from September. We love to support local charities and Martlets is a very important hospice for our community.”
